  Keeravaani - Kriti    A kriti of the great poet-saint of Carnatic Music, Sri Thyagaraja (1757-1847), set in the haunting raga, Keeravani.

  Hamsadhwani - Kriti    A brisk and lively composition of Patnam Subrahmanya Iyer (1845-1902) in the raga hamsadhwani.

  Gurjari - Kriti    A rare kriti of saint Thyagaraja (1757-1847) in the raga Gurjari.

  Ragamalika    An excerpt of the magnum opus of Maha Vaidyanatha Sivan (1844-1893), a highly technical composition set in all 72 of the sampurna melakartha ragas (fundamental seven-note scales).

  Nataikurinji - Varnam    A popular varnam in Natakuranji ragam performed at the Music Academy, Chennai.

  Kambhoji - Varnam    A popular varnam in the raga Kambhoji.

  Bhimplas - Kriti    A composition of Saint Annamacharya (1408-1503), tuned in Bhimplas raga by Nedunuri Sri Krishnamoorthy.

  Purvikalyani - Kriti    A rarely sung composition of the great poet-saint of Carnatic Music, Sri Thyagaraja (1757-1847), set in the emotive raga, Purvikalyani.

  Ramakriya - Kriti    A rarely heard composition of Muthuswami Dikshitar (1775-1835) in the raga Ramakriya. Ramakriya is often associated with other ragas like Kamavardhani and Pantuvarali, but there are technical differences between them.

  Purvikalyani - Alapana    An alapana (improvised melodic exposition of raga) in Purvikalyani.

  Surati - Varnam    An encyclopaedic chouka (slow-tempo) varnam composed by Subbarama Dikshitar (1839-1906) in the raga Surati.

  Shri Subrahmanyo    This haunting piece by Muthuswami Dikshitar (1775-1835) in Hanumathodi raga highlights the use of raw notes.

  Arabhi - Varnam    A brisk and lively varnam in the ghana raga, Arabhi.

  Davalangi - Kriti    A composition of Muthuswami Dikshitar (1775-1835) in the rare raga Davalangi. Muthuswami Dikshitar is credited for resurrecting such ragas through his compositions.

  Hemavati - Kriti    A composition of the brilliant and prolific composer/scholar, Muthuswami Dikshitar (1775-1835), in the raga Hemavathi.
